2 Nights Shimla – 3 Nights Manali – 2 Dharamshala – 1 Night Dalhousie – 1 Night Amritsar
Day 01 : Delhi – Shimla (360Km/8hrs)
Arrive in Delhi. Meet assist at the Airport & transfer by road to Shimla (343 Kms / 8 hrs) the former summer capital of British India, set admist the snow capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Full day visit in Shimla
This morning after breakfast, tour of Shimla-Kalbadevi Temple , Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or stop for a while at the beautiful stained – glass – windows of Christ Church, which was built in 1850 ‘s. Afternoon excursion to Kufri a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla caped mountains amidst virgin peaks and natures flora and fauna where one can completely relax and tune oneself for natural beauty, evening free to enjoy the scenic beauty of Kufri. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Shimla – Manali (260 Kms – 08 Hrs)
After breakfast check – out from the hotel and Leave for Manali, a picture perfect hill station at an altitude of 1950 metres. On reaching Manali, check-in to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure, strolling across the Manali Market. On arrival check – into the hotel and enjoy comfortable overnight stay.
Day 04 : Manali Local Sighteeing
After breakfast, drive to the full Local Sightseeing of Manali. Visiting the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi Temple, Old Manali, Jagatsukh, Manu Temple, Van Vihar and Vashist kund. Visit the Tibetan Monastery and thehandicraft center and walk to the nearby picturesque village of Vashist Village known for its hot sulphur springs. Van Vihar is a municipal garden is situated in front of the Tibetan market on Mall Road. In the lake located within the park, tourists can opt for boating. The park is adorned with big deodar trees. In the evening, after, settle down for comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : Manali – Rohtang Pass – Manali (51 Kms – 02 Hrs)
Early in the morning after breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Rohtang Pass/Rohtang Snow Point. (Closed on Tuesdays) On your way back, visit Solang Valley (on direct pay basis/If Applicable). You can opt for adventure sports like paragliding, zorbing and skiing (subject to density of snow) on direct payment basis. Enjoy comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Rohtang Pass: It is 51 kilometres (2 hours) from Manali. It is inaccessible for almost eight months in a year as it is covered by snow. Guests are generally taken to the Snow Point on Rohtang Road on permission by the Border Security Force. In case a Tuesday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to the Snow Point on some other day as we have three nights in Manali.
Solang Valley: It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley, 14 kilometres northwest of the resort town in Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass. It is known for its summer and winter sport activities like parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing.
Note: Both Snow Point /Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley will be covered on the same day and the visit is subject to weather conditions.
Day 06 : Manali – Dharamshala (220 Kms – 07 Hrs)
After breakfast check – out from the hotel and proceed Dharamshala. On arrival check – into the hotel and take rest at leisure. Later proceed for sightseeing and visit McLeod Ganj, St. John Church, Dal Lake and Dalai Lama Temple Complex.Dal Lake is surrounded by deep Deodhar forests and is situated approximately 11 km from Dharamshala. This lake is an ideal base camp for trekkers coming from McLeodganj. During the month of September, an annual fair is organised on the banks of Dal Lake, where tourists take dip in the holy water. It is believed that dip in the holy Dal Lake removes all the miseries and will be blessed by Lord Shiva. After you are through with it, and sleep comfortably overnight.
Day 07 : Dharamshala Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing of Dharamshala. Visit Dharamshala Cricket Museum, Bhagsu Falls, Bhagsu Nag Devta, Tibet Museum, Kangra Fort and Kangra Valley. Also Visit Dharamkot. Dharamkot fulfils your trekking needs as well as helps you unwind in a gorgeous hill station. To get there you need to take an invigorating twenty minute uphill walk from McCleodganj. Dharamkot offers you an absolutely stunning view of the mountains, the pine trees and Deodar forests that surround Dharamsala. Evening back to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 : Dharamshala – Dalhousie (120 Kms – 4hrs)
After breakfast check – out from the hotel and drive to Dalhousie. On arrival at Dalhousie check – into the hotel and take rest at leisure. Later, visit Panchpula, Dainkund Peak, St. John Church, Subhash Baoli and St. Patrick Church.Dainkund Peak, perched at an altitude of 2755 metre, is the highest mount in Dalhousie. Tourists can enjoy 360° view of the entire valley from this peak. The sound of the breeze passing through the trees makes a musical sound, due to which this peak has also acquired the name, the singing hill. Evening back to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 : Dalhousie – Amritsar (215 Kms – 4hrs)
Early morning after breakfast check – out from the hotel and proceed for Amritsar. On arrival check – in to the hotel and take rest at leisure.
Later in the afternoon board visit Wagah Border to attend the Beating Retreat ceremony held before sunset (reach the border by 3:30 P.M). Attari Wagah Border is the only road border crossing between India and Pakistan. Often known as Berlin wall of Asia, this border lies on the Grand Trunk Road between Amritsar and Lahore. On this border, a retreat ceremony called ‘lowering of the flags’ is held every evening, since 1959. During the ceremony, Border Security Force (B.S.F) of India and the Pakistan Rangers soldiers perform energetic parade. Later visit Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh andGobindgarh Fort. Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy comfortable overnight stay at the hotel
Day 08 : Departure from Amritsar – New Delhi (470 Kms – 8hrs)
After breakfast, check-out from Amritsar and transfer to New Delhi for your onward destination. With lots of unlimited memories of your trip !
