Day 01: Arrival Chennai
On arrival at Chennai, you will be transferred to Hotel. Afternoon visit to Kapaleeshwarar temple and
Government Art Gallery. Stay at Chennai
Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram (60 Kms – 2 hours’ drive)
Drive to Mahabalipuram, on arrival check in at the hotel & later sightseeing of Mahabalipuram
including visit to the famous Sea Shore temple, Five Rathas, Butter Ball and Arjuna Penance. Evening
watch the dance programme. Night stay in Mahabalipuram
Day 03: Excursion tour to Kanchipuram (70 kms / 1.5 hrs drive)
After Breakfast depart for an excursion visit to Kanchipuram – it is famous for the many historical temples and
monuments & after the visit drive back to Mahabalipuram. Night stay in Mahabalipuram
Day 04: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (100 kms / 3 hrs drive)
Drive to Pondicherry. on arrival check in at the hotel. Visit to Auroville. Night stay in Pondicherry
Day 05: Pondicherry – Tanjore (220 kms / 5 hrs drive)
Drive to Tanjore en route visit to the famous 02 UNESCO monument at Gangaikondacholapuram and
Darasuram (both monuments are 1000 years old), later visit Tanjore Big Temple (world Heritage
monument) and Art Gallery. Night stay in Tanjore
Day 06: Tanjore – Trichy – Madurai (200 kms / 5 hrs drive)
Proceed to Madurai, enroute visit to Trichy Srirangam and Rockfort Temple & later proceed to Madurai, evening after dinner we will go back to the temple to watch night ceremony (closing ceremony of the temple) . Night stay in Madurai
Day 07: Madurai
After breakfast visit Meenakshi temple, Gandhi museum and Tirumalai Nayak Palace. Night stay in Madurai
Day 08: durai – Thekkady (150 kms / 4 hrs drive)
Drive to Thekkady and visit spice plantation tour, boating at Periyar Lake. Night stay in Thekkady
Day 09: Thekkady – Alleppey ((150 kms / 5 hrs drive)
Drive to Alleppey and embark your houseboat, and explore the nature. Night stay at houseboat
Day 10: Alleppey – Cochin (70 kms / 1.5 hrs drive)
Drive to Cochin and check-in at hotel, later visit St Franchise church, Santa cruz basilica, Jewish synagogue stamp; Dutch palace. Night stay in Cochin.
Day 11: Cochin departure
After breakfast transfer to Cochin airport for flight to home with the happy memories.
