Day 1 : Arrival in Chennai and visit
Our representative driver welcomes you to Chennai airport then drive to hotel. Take a time to refresh yourself before start this wonderful trip. Later continue the sightseeing of Chennai.
Madras visit (also called Chennai).
Madras, now known as Chennai, is a city on the east coast of southern India. Located on the shores of Bay of Bengal, this state capital of Tamil Nadu is India’s fourth largest metropolitan city and one of the 35 largest metropolitan areas in the world. The city is a big commercial and industrial center in India, and is known for its cultural heritage.
Visit kapaleeswarar temple, Museum (will be closed on Friday, Ashtalakshmi Temple will be covered on friday), Marina beach, Anna square, M.G.R. square, Art gallery.
Come back to hotel and night in Chennai.
Day 02 : Chennai – Pondicherry ( 160kms/3h20min)
This morning after breakfast proceed to Pondicherry.
Pondicherry has kept the old French Quarter very typical, with colonial houses painted in acid colors. Stroll at your leisure in the old town. The seaside is very nice.

Day 2 : Visits of Pondicherry
Today after breakfast, we explore the city of Pondicherry, which includes Auroville, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, and a visit to Sri Aurobindo Vinayagar Temple and French War Memorial, Eglise De Sacre Coeur De Jesus (a catholic church well-known for its Gothic architecture and stained glass window panes). Later we enjoy the French heritage walk in the French colonies.
Come back to hotel, night in Pondicherry.
Day 03: Pondicherry – Mahabalipuram – Excursion to Kanchipuram (100 Kms – 3h drive)
After breakfast proceed to Mahabalipuram – famous for its temple and beach. visit the shore Temple, Panch Rath, Varah Caves, Arjuna’s Penance and Krishna’s Butter Ball at Mahabalipuram and proceed to Kanchipuram – famous for its crafted world-renowned silk sarees – a traditional home industry over here. Further, we also visit Vishnukanchi Temple.
Excursion tour to Kanchipuram (70 kms / 1.5 hrs drive – one way)
Go for an excursion visit to Kanchipuram – it is famous for the many historical temples and monuments & after the visit drive back to Mahabalipuram. Night stay in Mahabalipuram
Day 04: Mahabalipuram – Chennai airport (60kms/1h30min) – Departure to Hometown
This morning, after breakfast proceed to Chennai and enjoy shopping in the city. After lunch, it’s time now to say goodbye. And for the future trip let’s meet again on yet another memorable tour.
