Day 01: Arrival Chennai

On arrival at Chennai, you will be transferred to Hotel. Afternoon visit to Kapaleeshwarar temple / Government Art Gallery. Stay at Chennai

Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram (60 Kms – 2 hours drive)

Drive to Mahabalipuram, on arrival check in at the hotel & later sightseeing of Mahabalipuram including visit to the famous Sea Shore temple, Five Rathas, Butter Ball and Arjuna Penance. Evening watch the dance programme. Night stay in Mahabalipuram.

Day 03: Excursion tour to Kanchipuram (70 kms / 1.5 hrs drive – one way)  

Go for an excursion visit to Kanchipuram – it is famous for the many historical temples and monuments & after the visit drive back to Mahabalipuram. Night stay in Mahabalipuram

Day 04: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (100 kms / 3 hrs drive)

Drive to Pondicherry. On arrival check in at the hotel. Visit to Auroville / stay at Pondicherry

Day 05: Pondicherry – Kumbakonam (190 kms / 4 hrs drive)

Drive to Kumbakonam en route visit to the famous 02 UNESCO monument at Gangaikondacholapuram and Darasuram stay at Kumbakonam (both monuments are 1000 years old) Night stay in Kumbakonam

Day 06: Kumbakonam – Trichy – Tanjore (160 kms / 3 hrs drive)

Proceed to Tanjore enroute visit to Trichy Srirangam and Rockfort Temple & evening proceed to Tanjore. Night stay in Tanjore

Day 07: Tanjore  

Morning visit to Tanjore Big Temple (world Heritage monument) and Art Gallery. Rest of the afternoon free at the resort. Night stay in Tanjore

Day 08 : Tanjore – Madurai (190 kms / 4 hrs drive)

Drive to Madurai / on arrival visit Meenakshi temple and Tirumalai Nayak Palace & evening after dinner we will go back to the temple to watch night ceremony (closing ceremony of the temple). Night stay in Madurai

Day 09 : Departure from Madurai

After breakfast transfer to Madurai airport for flight to Chennai to connect flight to home with the happy memories.
